Why it costs anything at all
Breezer runs on infrastructure and services, and those cost money every month, whether anybody subscribes or not. Right now it costs more to run than it earns, and I pay the difference. That is also why the essential half stays free instead of being rationed: the app should pay for itself through the people who want the extra depth.
I am not trying to get rich with this. First it should cover its own costs. Then it should earn enough that I can give it more than the evenings and weekends it gets now, because that is the only thing standing between the app as it is and the app I want it to be.
And then the part I actually care about: bigger drops, real giveaways, proper cooperations with partners. Money that comes out of this community should end up back in it. The goal is the largest snus community there is, and that is not a thing you build by taking out of it.
I have used snus for years myself. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing, I honestly do not know. That is part of why the app does both: it counts for whoever wants to count, and it helps whoever wants to stop.

In the App Store or Google Play, like any other subscription, at any time. Breezer cannot cancel it for you, because the payment is handled by the store. What you paid for stays active until that period is over.
